Trishna Engineering Works

We are located at 12 Big Street in Ponniammanmedu. Despite the name, Big Street isn't actually that wide, especially when there are trucks parked along the side for loading. We’ve been operating out of Kanakanchalram for quite a while now. The workshop has that old smell of oil and iron that never really goes away, no matter how much we clean. We have a few benches set up for the manual work and some bigger machines for the heavier stuff. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the doors open for a bit of a breeze. Most of us have been working together for years. We know each person's habits and how they like their tea in the morning. There isn't much room for a fancy office, so we just use a small table near the front for all the writing. We handle the engineering side of things, lots of measuring and checking twice. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes our hands stay dirty for days. The neighbors know us as the place that makes all the clinking noises. We don't mind the reputation. It's just what we do to get the job done. Sometimes we have to wait on materials to arrive, which gives us a chance to tidy up the scrap metal. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a website that works well or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing where we are.
