We are located at 31-A/15 in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Ambattur. If you’ve ever been to Ambattur, you know it’s the heart of the engineering industry in this part of the country. Tribo Tech Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is just one of many shops in the estate. The heat in Chennai can be brutal, and inside the workshop it feels even hotter with the machines running. We have a small office upstairs that has an old air conditioner, but it doesn't always work very well. Downstairs, the team is busy with various engineering projects. There are always piles of metal shavings and the smell of coolant in the air. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and find someone on the shop floor. The Sidco estate is a maze of similar-looking buildings, so we tell people to look for the big blue gate. We spend our days troubleshooting problems and making sure the parts we produce are within the right specs. It’s a tough environment but there’s a good sense of community among the workers in the estate. We often share tools or advice with the shop next door. It’s not a glamorous profession, but it’s essential work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just keep our focus on the engineering side of things and try to get the job done right without overcomplicating our process.
