We are located at 104/4B in Kothiembakkam Village. If you are looking for us, the easiest way is to find the Lotte Chocolates factory, and we are right across the road from them. Tratico Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. might sound like a big corporate name, but we’re actually just a group of engineers and workers doing our daily thing in the shop. The village is usually quite peaceful except for the industrial noises coming from our side of the street. We do a lot of technical engineering work, but we prefer to talk about it in plain, simple terms so everyone understands. Most of the people who work here live nearby and just ride a bike or walk to get to the gate every morning. The shop floor is where all the real action happens. It has that very specific smell of cut metal and the coolant we use on the machines. We’ve had some of the same local customers for a long time, and they know exactly where to find us across from the chocolate plant. Sometimes when the wind blows the right way, it smells like chocolate outside, which is a nice change from the usual shop smells. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or salesmen. People usually hear about us through other businesses or by seeing the work we do. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense environment here. We have a tiny office for the bills, but it’s mostly empty because we’re all out back near the machines. It’s just how we've always operated.
