Transend

Transend is located down in Chennai at 113, Sakthivel Nagar. We are on 7th Cross Street, which is a fairly typical street for this part of Tamil Nadu. The office is a simple building, and we’ve been here for a good while. Chennai is famous for its heat, and Sakthivel Nagar is no exception, so the fans are always spinning in the office to keep us from melting. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have a lot of equipment and files tucked into every corner. We don't have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss the turn if they aren't looking closely at the street numbers. Most of our day is spent at the desks, working through whatever projects are on the go. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our coffee, and that’s usually the highlight of the mid-morning break. The 600 082 area is home to us, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors on the street pretty well over the years. We don't have any corporate polish here; the floor is a bit worn in places and the paint is peeling near the ceiling. It’s a real place where real work happens. We handle our business without a lot of bells and whistles. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy and the street floods a bit, but we just stay inside and keep working until it clears up. It’s just the daily life of a small office in a big city, trying to keep things moving.
