Our place is in the Cee Dee Yes Guindy Enclave, specifically at E-1. If you know Chennai, you know Guindy is always buzzing with activity, and our little corner is no different. We handle HR and recruitment stuff for Acrolinks Hr Solutions, which basically means we spend all day on the phone or looking at screens. The office isn't huge, but it fits us all and our stacks of folders. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up, and it gets a bit stuffy, but we manage. We are not some giant corporation with fancy glass walls; we are just a small team trying to match people with work that fits them. It is a lot of talking and a lot of listening, really. Usually, the morning starts with a pile of messages to get through, and by the afternoon, we are deep into interviews or checking references. We do not use a lot of big words or complicated systems, just a basic way of keeping track of who is looking for what. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the trucks and bikes, but once you are inside and working, you kind of tune it out. We have been here at this address for a while now, and we have seen a lot of people come through those doors looking for a new start. It is a practical kind of job and we just try to do it right. Usually, we take turns getting coffee.
