Trainee

Our place is called Trainee and you can find us at No. 5/11-B in J.E. Apartments. We are on Second Street, Bharathi Avenue, in the Kottur area of Chennai. The pin code is 600085. It’s a quiet residential street, so it doesn't feel like a typical business district. We help people who are starting their careers. The office is just a couple of rooms in an apartment building. It’s a very simple setup. We have some desks, chairs, and computers for work. We aren't a big company with many floors. It is just a small group of us here. We spend our mornings looking at applications and our afternoons talking to people. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for it to come back. That is just how it is here. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. We just do what we can to help people get their first break. The neighbors in J.E. Apartments are nice and we often see them in the hallway. We usually get our lunch from a small hotel nearby. It’s honest work and we like being in Kottur. Every day is a little different depending on who comes to see us. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just show up and do the work that needs to be done while keeping an eye on the clock.
