Square

Our office is in Chennai, specifically in the 600014 area. It’s a lively part of the city with a lot of history. We go by the name Square. It’s a simple name and we try to keep our work simple too. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a space where we come to work every morning. We handle a variety of business tasks, mostly involving numbers and coordination. The building we’re in is pretty standard for this part of Tamil Nadu. We have a few rooms and enough space for the team to sit comfortably. Some days the traffic in Chennai makes it a challenge to get in on time, but we manage. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything. We just want to do a good job for the people we work with. Most of our day is spent at our desks. We use a lot of paper and keep everything in folders. It’s an old-fashioned way of staying organized but it works for us. We like the local food stalls nearby; we usually grab lunch from one of them. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don't have a big marketing budget or any glossy brochures. If people need us, they find us. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But inside our office, things stay pretty much the same. We just keep working.
