Velsaii Industries

Velsaii Industries is situated at No. 604 Sakthi Ganapathy Nagar 9th Street in Thiruvottiyur. It is an industrial area so there is always a bit of dust and the sound of machinery in the air. Our workshop is not very large but it serves its purpose. We have a few machines that have been with us since the beginning. They are loud and sometimes they act up, but we know how to fix them ourselves. The floor is concrete and gets quite cold in the winter months, though it stays hot most of the summer. We don't have a big team of people. It is just a handful of us who have worked together for a long time. We don't wear uniforms or have big meetings in boardrooms. Most of our discussions happen while we are working or during a quick lunch break. Sakthi Ganapathy Nagar is a working-class neighborhood and we fit right in. The 9th Street is usually filled with trucks loading and unloading stuff. We try to keep our area tidy but with all the metal and scraps, it is a constant battle. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just make what our customers ask for and try to do a decent job of it. It is a honest way to make a living and we are okay with how things are going for us here.
