If you walk down Perambur High Road, you will find us at No. 74/58. We are situated right across from the railway station, so it stays very noisy with all the trains and the crowds of people coming and going all day. The traffic in Chennai is something else, and Perambur is no exception. We have been here for a long time, watching the area change while we teach people how to drive. The shop is tucked away but once you see the station, you know you are in the right place. Our days start early when the first trains arrive. We meet our students outside and get straight to work. It takes a lot of patience to drive around here, especially with the buses and the rickshaws always pushing for space. We spend a lot of time explaining how to use the mirrors and when to shift gears. Most of our students are local folks or people who work near the station. Sometimes we just sit outside the office and watch the world go by when there is a break between lessons. The office has maps on the wall and a lot of old files from years of teaching. We don't do anything fancy, just the basic stuff you need to know to pass the test and get your license. It is a busy life on Perambur High Road, but we like being in the middle of all the action in Chennai 600011.
