The Sign Creators

The Sign Creators is located at 57/22 in Bharathishwarar Colony, on the 3rd Street in Kodambakkam. This part of Chennai is always buzzing, and our street is no different. It’s a mix of houses and small businesses, so there’s a real community feel here. Our workshop is usually a bit of a mess with pieces of acrylic, vinyl scraps, and tools scattered across the benches. We don't really tidy up until the end of the week because there’s always another job waiting to be started. The fans are always running to keep the heat down, but it still gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We’ve been here long enough that we know the regular delivery guys by name. It’s not a shiny corporate office; it’s a place where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes a neighbor will pop in just to see what we’re building or to complain about the noise from the drills. We just take it in stride and keep going. The work is steady, and we like the rhythm of it. Measuring, cutting, and assembling takes up most of our time. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just see our work around the neighborhood and ask where it came from. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We're just a bunch of guys in a workshop making things.
