Thahir Hardwares

We've been here at No 53, Evening Bazaar for a long time now. People usually find us on the parallel road to Devaraja Mudali Street in Park Town. It’s a busy spot, but we like it that way. Thahir Hardwares is basically just a place where you can get the tools and parts you need without a lot of fuss. Most days involve helping neighbors find a specific bolt or a piece of hardware they can't get elsewhere. We keep the shelves stocked because we know how frustrating it is to start a job and realize you're missing something small. The shop isn't fancy. It gets a bit dusty with all the inventory, but that’s just how hardware stores are. If you’re walking around the Park Town area, you’ve probably passed by our door. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for a website. We're usually just busy out on the floor. It's a family-run kind of thing, and we know many of the faces that come through. Sometimes the traffic on Devaraja Mudali Street is a headache, but being right here in the middle of it means we stay connected to what's going on. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and help whoever walks in. It’s simple work, but it keeps the community going. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a local hardware shop sitting on the bazaar road.
