We are based at No.30 on Jawaharlal Nehru Salai, though most people around here just call it 100 Feet Road. Being in Koyambedu means we are right in the middle of a very active part of the city. There is a lot of noise from the buses and the heavy traffic that never seems to stop, but it keeps things interesting. Our space is quite large because we have to store a lot of different power tools and equipment. It isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights and carpets. It’s a working warehouse where things are stacked on sturdy metal shelves. We spend a lot of our time checking inventory or helping people who come in looking for a specific tool. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act more important than we are. We just talk about what the tools can do and help folks find what they need for their own projects. The floors get a bit dusty from all the coming and going, but that is just part of being on such a busy road. The staff here has been around for a while and they know the stock inside and out. We don’t do much in the way of marketing. Usually, people find us because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic or a friend told them where we were. It’s a busy, practical place and we just keep it running.
