Teknomec

Teknomec is located in the L-Block area of Annanagar East, right on 27th Street. We are at L-60. It’s a bit different being in Annanagar compared to the big industrial estates, as it feels more like a neighborhood here. Our shop is tucked into the street among other buildings, and we try to keep things organized so we don't bother the neighbors too much. We do a lot of technical work here, focusing on small-scale engineering and mechanical parts. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We have a few lathes and some benches where we do the manual assembly. It can get a bit cramped when we have a big project going on, but we manage somehow. Most of us have been working in this field for years, so we know the tricks of the trade. We don't really do much in the way of sales pitches or marketing. Usually, people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we could handle a specific repair or part. We like being in this part of the city because it’s easy to get to, and there are good places to grab lunch nearby. Our day-to-day is pretty simple: we check the orders, get the tools out, and start working. It’s a lot of measuring and checking, and then checking again. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on schedule every single day.
