Technosoft Global Services P Ltd is over here in Madras. It’s a busy city, and our place isn't anything fancy. We’ve got desks, a few old computers, and some chairs that have seen better days. When we started, it was just a couple of us trying to figure things out in this heat. Madras is humid, so the fans are always on full blast while we work. We handle technical stuff for people, mostly just sitting at our screens for long hours. There isn't a big sign outside or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or if they know the street well. We have a tea break around four every day, and that’s when we actually talk about things other than work. It gets loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world or anything; we just want to get the job done and go home to our families. Some of the guys have been here since the beginning, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. The building is old, and the stairs creak, but it’s where we spend most of our time. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do their bit. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria, just a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits. It’s homey in its own way.
