A To Z Events

A To Z Events is just a bunch of us working out of Bar Cannon Street. It gets pretty loud and busy around here near Purasawalkam Doveton, especially during the festival seasons. We’ve been at this for a while now, mostly helping neighbors and people from around the Vaththiyar Kandhan Street area with their functions. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where we keep our stuff and meet people to talk about what they need for their weddings or birthday parties. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when we have two things happening at once, but we manage. Most of our days are spent on the phone or out at venues checking if the chairs arrived on time. We know the local area well, which helps when moving things through these narrow streets. People just drop by the shop if they’re passing through Choolai. We don't really do big advertisements because word of mouth keeps us going. If someone needs a stage set up or just some simple decorations, we get it done. The heat in Chennai can be a real pain during outdoor setups, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. It’s just honest work, making sure the local events go off without too much of a hitch. We've seen a lot of families grow up over the years here. At No 44, we’re usually around most days if someone wants to talk. It's a busy life.
