Tavron Engineers

You can find us at Af-1, Aishwarayam, 25-A, on Redhills Road in Kolathur. Tavron Engineers is a small engineering firm, and we’ve been operating out of this space for some time now. It’s a ground-floor setup, which makes it easier for moving parts and equipment in and out. The neighborhood is mostly residential with a few shops, so it’s not too loud during the day. We spend a lot of time with blueprints and measuring tools. It’s a hands-on kind of place. You might see some grease on our hands or a few scratches on the desks. We don’t mind. It shows we’re actually working. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us hunched over a drawing or talking on the phone with a contractor. Engineering is about solving problems, and we get our fair share of those every week. Some days the calculations don’t add up right away and we have to start over. It can be frustrating, but that’s the job. We drink our tea together in the afternoons and talk about the projects. It’s a simple life in Kolathur. We’re not trying to be the biggest firm in the city, just a reliable one that gets the engineering bits right. We focus on what's in front of us and try to make it work. That’s how we've always done things here.
