Ahilandeswari Fly Ash Bricks

Our yard is in Tambaram West, right on 7th Street in Krishna Nager. We are located very near to Mano Hospital. It is easy to find our place if you know where the hospital is. We make fly ash bricks here. There is always a big pile of grey powder around the site. The machines make a lot of noise when they are running in the afternoon. It is a dusty environment but we like being outdoors. We start our work early before the Tambaram traffic gets too bad. Mudichuer Road is always a mess in the mornings with people going to work. We have a small crew of men. Everyone knows their specific job. We stack the bricks in long rows to let them dry out. Sometimes the rain messes up our whole production schedule. We just have to wait it out and start again. There is no point complaining about the weather. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about our prices for their home projects. We do not have any glossy brochures to give them. We just show them the actual bricks. They are solid and do the job well. We are not a big corporation. We are just a local business trying to keep things moving along. 7th street is usually quiet except for us. We have been at this address for a long time. My desk is covered in old receipts. It is hard work but it is honest.
