Tambaram Driving School

I’ve been working at Tambaram Driving School for quite a while now. We are located right at No. 139, just a short walk from Deepam Hospital here in Tambaram. If you know the area, you know how busy the roads get around here. It is not always easy teaching someone to handle a steering wheel when the buses are zooming past, but that is what we do every day. We have a few cars that we use for the lessons, and they have seen a lot of wear and tear over the years from all the gear shifting mistakes. Most people who come to us are pretty nervous at first. They sit in the driver's seat and their hands shake a bit, but after a few rounds around the block, they start to get the hang of it. My desk is usually covered in forms for the RTO and old notebooks where I keep track of the schedule. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is a simple setup, nothing fancy at all. We just focus on getting people through their driving tests without too much stress. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, with more shops popping up near the hospital, but we are still in the same spot. It is just a regular local business where we know most of the people living on the street.
