Sz Restaurants Llp

Sz Restaurants Llp is based over in Nungambakkam at Old No.3, New No.7, Shenoy Road. This part of Chennai has a lot of history and our building is part of that. It’s an old house that has been converted, so it has a lot of character but also some quirks, like doors that creak or floors that aren't perfectly level. We run our restaurant business from here. It isn't a massive corporate headquarters with a lobby and security guards. It’s just a few rooms with desks and computers where we plan our menus and handle the bookkeeping. We spend a lot of our time visiting the different kitchen locations to see how things are going. Sitting behind a desk all day isn't really for us. We’d rather be where the cooking is happening. The atmosphere in our office is pretty relaxed. We usually have the windows open to let in a breeze, even if it brings in some of the city noise from Nungambakkam. We are just a small team trying to keep everything running smoothly. There are always challenges, like when a supplier is late or a piece of equipment breaks down at one of the shops. We just deal with things as they come. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to serve good food and keep our staff happy. It’s a practical way to live and work.
