Syed Token Printers

We have been here at Govindappa Naicken Street for a long time now. People know us as Syed Token Printers, right near the National Lodge. It's a busy spot. You can find us at New No. 241, though some old timers still call it No. 115. The street is always loud with traffic and people walking by. We spend most of our days inside the shop handling the machines. It gets quite hot in the afternoons but we are used to it. We mostly deal with small printing jobs, mostly tokens and little slips that businesses around here need. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workspace with a lot of paper and ink smells. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back. Our neighbors are mostly other small shops. We’ve known the guys at the lodge for years. When you come look for us, just look for the old sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun. We usually open up early in the morning before the heat really kicks in. There is always tea being brought around by the local boy. We keep things simple. If someone needs tokens printed, they just drop by and tell us what they want. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the work. It’s a steady life here on this street.
