You can find our workshop at Shed No. 345 in the Sidco Industrial Estate. It used to be called New No. 51, which still confuses some delivery drivers who come looking for us in Ambattur. We have been in this spot for a long time now. The estate is always buzzing with activity from all the different factories around. We specifically deal with saws and blades, so our place is full of metal and cutting equipment. It’s not a quiet place to be. There is always the sound of grinding or the clatter of steel being moved around. The shed gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we just keep the doors open to get a bit of a breeze. We don’t have a big front office or a reception area with fancy chairs. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the workspace. We spend most of our time checking the inventory and making sure the blades are ready to be sent out to customers. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the details. We know the other shop owners in the lane, and we often share a tea in the mornings. It’s a solid, working-class environment. We aren't interested in making things look polished; we just want the tools to work like they should. We stay busy with the local orders and the shipping deadlines. It’s what we do every day.
