Supraja Driving School

Our driving school is right near the Apollo Pharmacy in Arumbakkam. If you are looking for us, we are at No. 40/50. It is a busy area with a lot of traffic, which is actually good for teaching people how to drive in real Chennai conditions. We have a couple of small cars that we use for the lessons. They are not new models, but they work fine and the clutches are easy for beginners to handle. We spend most of our day sitting in the passenger seat with our feet on the dual brakes just in case. It can be stressful when a new student stalls the engine in the middle of a junction, but we stay calm and talk them through it. We have been doing this for a while now. The office is just a small room where we keep the registers and the theory books. People come in to sign up for their licenses or just to ask about the fees. We try to be flexible with the timings because many of our students are working or going to college. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the lessons a bit tiring, but we keep the windows down and just get on with it. We do not have fancy simulators or anything. Just the cars and the road. Most of our students come from the surrounding neighborhoods in Chennai 600106. We just want them to be safe when they drive.
