Sunflare Speciality Restaurant Private Limited is tucked away in the R A Puram neighborhood of Chennai. We are located at S-2 in the Prashanthi Apartments at 22 / 68 First Main Road. It’s a bit different running a restaurant out of an apartment building, but it works for us. It gives the place a more personal feel. We don't have any big marketing plans or a professional social media manager. We just open up and see who comes in. Most of our guests are people who live in the area or work nearby. The kitchen isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we move around each other. We focus on a few specialty dishes rather than having a massive menu that we can't handle. The staff is like a small family. We’ve had our ups and downs with things like broken refrigerators or slow days, but we manage to stay afloat. R A Puram is a nice, leafy part of town and we enjoy being here. We don't have fancy uniforms or a corporate script. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because most of them are. It’s a lot of cleaning and prep work every day. We aren't trying to win any awards. We just want to keep the kitchen running and serve food that makes people feel at home. It’s a simple life for us here at Sunflare.
