You can find us at No. 3/50 on the 2nd Cross Street in Sundar Nagar. Ekkattuthangal is a busy area, but our street is a little quieter than the main road. The office is on the second floor. We have a lot of circuit boards and soldering irons lying around. There’s usually a smell of burnt solder in the air near the workbenches. We spend most of our time staring at screens or poking at small components with tweezers. It’s not the kind of place where people wear ties. Most of us are in jeans and t-shirts. The shelves are packed with old projects and half-finished boxes. We have a small pantry where we keep the kettle and some packets of instant noodles for when we work late. The light is bright because we need to see the tiny parts we work with. Sometimes the neighbors come by because they think we can fix their TV or remote. We tell them that’s not really what we do, but we usually take a look anyway if we aren't too busy. It’s a lot of technical stuff that would bore most people. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks. The floor is grey lino and it’s seen better days. We don't bother much with decorating. The machines and the tools are the main thing here. We just try to keep the coffee mugs from getting mixed up.
