Sun Engineering

Sun Engineering is tucked away on 9th Street in Kamaraj Nagar. We are at No. 23, right in Ennore. This area has a lot of industrial stuff going on, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops. Most days start early with the sound of tools and machines humming. It’s noisy, but that’s just how engineering work goes when you're fixing things. We handle different metal parts and repairs that come our way from local clients. People from around the neighborhood know the shop well. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workshop floor and some space for the heavy tools we use. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The street is narrow, so parking a big vehicle can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on getting the work done. Whether it’s a small fix or something bigger, we just take it as it comes. The air in Ennore always has that specific smell of the coast and industry mixed together. We’re used to it. The guys here have been working with their hands for years and know what they are doing. Sun Engineering isn't a huge operation. It’s just us doing the daily grind at No. 23. We keep the doors open and stay busy with whatever needs making. It’s honest work, and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. You’ll usually see some metal scraps or old parts sitting around the entrance.
