Ayyappa Driving School

We are based right in the middle of T. Nagar here in Chennai. The zip code is 600017, and if you know this area, you know how packed it gets. There are shoppers and cars everywhere, especially on the weekends. Our little office for Ayyappa Driving School is tucked away in one of the streets. It’s not a fancy place, just a room where we keep our records and meet people who are looking to get their license. Working in T. Nagar means we have to be very good at handling crowds and narrow spaces. We spend our days teaching people how to move through the chaos without getting too stressed out. It’s a simple life, mostly spent in the driver’s seat or the passenger side. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like a huge corporation. We’re just a local school. Some days the humidity in Chennai is really something else, so we keep the fans going in the office. We’ve seen many students come through our doors over the years, all of them just trying to get from point A to point B. We don’t have any big mission statements, just a focus on getting the job done. It’s a busy life in 600017, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just show up every morning and see who needs help next. That’s about it for us. We just keep moving forward. It’s a job.
