Sumee Foods is located at No:15 on Mahal 4th Street. It’s a residential-feeling area, so our setup is quite small and integrated into the neighborhood. The street is narrow, and there’s always kids playing or neighbors chatting outside. We’ve been here for a while, and most people on the block know what we do. Our workspace is pretty cramped because we’ve got a lot of equipment for a small building. We handle food products, so there’s always a lot of cleaning going on. It’s not a big industrial factory; it’s more like a family-run kitchen that got a bit bigger than expected. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they usually just knock on the side door. The air inside usually smells like whatever we were cooking or packing that morning. We have a few long tables and some scales, and everything is done mostly by hand. The staff is just a handful of us who live nearby, so we don't have to worry about long commutes. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don't use any big words or fancy labels to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the food ready and out to the shops that sell it. It’s a lot of work, and the kitchen gets very hot, but we’ve got a good rhythm going after all these years. Sometimes we have to shift boxes around just to make room to walk.
