We are located over at St. Thomas Mount, specifically on 1st Cross Street in Sripuram Colony. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though the street can get a little crowded when everyone is moving about. Sudarsan (Madras) Engineering has been operating out of this spot at No. 14 for quite some time now. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of people, just a dedicated group of us working in the shop. The building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose. We spend most of our days dealing with the technical side of things, getting our hands dirty and making sure everything runs like it should. There’s always a lot of noise from the tools and machines, which is just the way we like it. It shows work is getting done. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist greeting people at the door. If you come by, you'll probably find us in the back or near the equipment. We've got some old desks and plenty of paperwork piled up, but we know where everything is. Being in Madras for so long, we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our little corner of Sripuram Colony stays pretty much the same. It’s a solid place to work from. We just focus on the engineering tasks in front of us and try to get things out the door on time. That's really all there is to it.
