We are over here at Halls Road in Egmore, right by Kings Hotel. It gets pretty busy on this street during the day with all the cars and people. Studio 9 Architects Interiors Designers Builders isn't a huge corporate office with fancy glass walls, just some of us working on drawings and site plans. We do a bit of everything from the actual building construction to the inside decorations. Most days you’ll find us looking at blueprints or talking to contractors about why something is taking longer than it should. It’s a lot of back and forth between the office and the job sites. Chennai weather makes the site visits tough sometimes with the heat, but that is just part of the job. We have been in this spot for a while now. The space is filled with samples of wood and tile and rolls of paper everywhere. We don't have a fancy reception area. It is just a place where work gets done. People usually find us because they live nearby or saw a house we were working on. We try to keep things straightforward and don't use a lot of big words to explain what we do. If you need someone to help with a renovation or build a new place from scratch, we are right here near the hotel. Sometimes the traffic on Halls Road is a nightmare, so we mostly stay put during peak hours and catch up on emails. It is just us doing our thing every day. We also help with the interiors.
