Amar Bala Architects

We've been running Amar Bala Architects for a while now. Our office sits right on Devaraja Mudali Street in Park Town, which is usually quite busy. It's at No 35, and we've gotten used to the noise and the people passing by every day. When we started, we didn't really have a big plan, just wanted to draw up some plans and help people build things that don't fall down. Most days you'll find us hunched over desks or talking to someone who just walked in off the street. Park Town has a specific feel to it, and being on Devaraja Mudali Street means we see a lot of the local life. We handle all sorts of projects, small houses or bigger things, it just depends on who needs help. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace with plenty of paper and old rulers lying around. We try to get things done right without making a big fuss about it. If you’re walking near the shop at No 35, you’ll probably see the sign. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. We like it that way because it keeps things focused on the actual drawings and building work. Sometimes the street gets crowded, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been at this address for a bit and know the neighbors pretty well now. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
