Down on 6512Th Main Road, the traffic can get pretty loud, but inside our office, it stays mostly quiet. We are Diastyle Architects & Interior Designers. We spend our days mostly drawing and re-drawing. It's funny how a single inch can change the whole feel of a doorway. We’ve learned that the hard way over the years. We take on all kinds of jobs, from a whole house to just a single office space. We aren't trying to be the most famous shop in town, just the one that gets the job done without too much fuss. Our shelves are stacked with old folders and stacks of paper because we still like to draw things out by hand sometimes. It feels more real that way. People stop by to ask about their renovations, and we usually just sit down and talk it through. No fancy presentations, just some sketches and a clear talk about what’s possible. Building stuff is messy and stressful for a lot of people, so we try to take some of that weight off. We aren't perfect, and sometimes projects run into delays because that's just life in construction. But we stay on it until it's finished. It’s just us here at the shop, working through the pile of plans and making sure the walls go where they’re supposed to go.
