Stokes

Stokes is our little business located at No.9 in Maruti Nagar, which is over in the Sembakkam/Rajakilpakkam area. We are right opposite the Sembakkam Park, so it’s actually a pretty nice spot to be. If you are ever taking a walk in the park, you’ve likely seen our place across the street. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we just handle things day by day. It’s not a large company with a lot of departments; it is more of a hands-on operation. We are in the 600073 zip code, and things around here have stayed relatively quiet compared to the center of Chennai. We spend our time working on whatever projects are currently on the table. Sometimes that means a lot of paperwork, and other times it's more practical stuff. The office is small and a bit lived-in, but it works for us. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website that costs a fortune. We just rely on doing a decent job so people come back or tell their friends about us. It’s a simple way to run a business. Being across from the park is a nice bonus because it gives us a bit of greenery to look at when things get stressful. We’re usually here during normal hours if anyone wants to stop by Maruti Nagar and say hello. We don't complicate things here, we just do what needs to be done to keep the business running smoothly every week.
