We are based in the Fernhill Apartments on the ground floor. It’s Door No. 36/2 on 3rd Main Road in Kasturibai Nagar. Adyar is a nice, quiet part of Chennai compared to the city center. Stella Institute is a small setup where we handle various educational services. Since we are on the ground floor, it’s easy for people to just pop in. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that are probably too full. It feels more like a home than an office because it’s in an apartment complex. We see the same neighbors every day. Our work involves a lot of counseling and helping people with school stuff. Sometimes we are busy with phone calls all morning. Other times it’s just us catching up on paperwork. We’ve been here for a while and the location works well for us. It’s close to the shops and some good places to eat. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a front door and a couple of rooms where we get things done. We like the pace of life here in Adyar. It’s steady. We just try to answer people's questions as they come through the door. There is usually someone here from nine in the morning until about six in the evening, except on Sundays when we stay closed.
