You can find me at No.45/1 on Raju Naickan Street in Chennai. It’s in the 600033 area. Sowmya Ramji is the name attached to this spot. This street has a lot of character, and it’s right in the middle of everything. The humidity in Chennai is always there, so the fan is usually on high. I’ve got a small space here that I’ve made my own. It’s not a big corporate building, just a local place on a busy street. Sometimes the sound of the traffic and the people walking by is quite loud, but I’ve learned to tune it out. I spend my mornings getting things ready and then I’m usually busy until the sun goes down. The walls have a few scuffs, and the floor is just plain stone, but it’s sturdy. I don’t use any fancy systems, just my hands and my head. I’ve known the people on this street for years. We trade stories sometimes when things are slow. It’s a very grounded way to live and work. I don't feel the need for a big office. This room on Raju Naickan Street is plenty for me. I keep a bottle of water on the desk and just keep going. It’s just me doing my thing in this little corner of Tamil Nadu. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a regular day in a regular place with a lot of history and noise.
