Our office is down on the ground floor of Raahat Plaza, number 172/66 on Arcot Road in Vadapalani. If you’re familiar with Chennai, you’ll know we are right opposite the Forum Mall, so it is a very busy spot with a lot of traffic and people always moving about. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for anyone to just walk in off the street when they’re out shopping or heading to the mall. We focus on career development, which mostly means helping people figure out what skills they need for work. It’s a small space, but we make the most of it. We have a few computers and some chairs for visitors. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; we don't wear uniforms and we don't use a lot of corporate jargon. We just talk like normal people. Chennai is a fast-paced city, and finding the right job path can be confusing. We just try to make it a bit simpler for whoever comes through our door. Sometimes it’s crowded and loud because of the road noise outside, but that’s just life in Vadapalani. We’ve been here for a bit and have seen the mall grow and the traffic get heavier, but our little office stays the same. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and try to be a helpful stop for anyone looking to move up in their career.
