You can find us at No 30 A on Reddy Street. This part of Nerkundram in Koyambedu is always moving. Stars Engineering Equipment has its base here, right in the middle of all that activity. The shop is not very large, but we pack it full of whatever gear we are working on at the time. Sometimes it is hard to walk through the aisles without bumping into a crate or a piece of metal. The neighborhood is full of small shops and people going to the market. We get a lot of dust coming in from the main road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It is just me and a couple of others most days. We do not wear uniforms or anything like that. Usually, we are just in old shirts that can handle a bit of dirt. Reddy Street has its own rhythm, and we have become a part of it over the years. We keep the equipment stacked up high to save space. Sometimes finding a specific tool takes a minute because things get moved around. We do not have any fancy signs out front, just the address. The back door stays propped open with a brick to catch a breeze. It is a simple way to run things, and it works for us. We just focus on getting the gear ready and making sure everything is where it needs to be before the day ends.
