Our place is at No. 76/3/147 on Arcot Road in Kodambakkam. Sri Sri Aghraharam Traditional Food Products (Opc) Private Limited is what we call the business. We focus on food items that people grew up eating, the kind of things that are becoming harder to find in big supermarkets. Kodambakkam is a lively part of town, so there’s always something happening outside our door. Inside, we are usually busy packing up containers or checking the ingredients we just bought. We don't have any fancy machines or a polished showroom. It’s a very hands-on type of business where we do most of the work ourselves. Sometimes the shop feels a little small for all the things we want to do, but we manage by staying organized. We aren't trying to sell a lifestyle or anything like that. We just provide food products that we know how to make well. Most days involve a lot of lifting, stirring, and labeling. It’s hard work and it can be tiring, but it’s what we know. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make the food and hope people find it useful for their kitchens. It’s a simple operation on a busy road. We stay open most days and try to keep things stocked up. Sometimes we run out of things if the ingredients are hard to find, but we do what we can.
