You can find us at number 29 on Vinayagan Street in Virugambakkam. We are right opposite the Infant Jesus Church. It is a very easy landmark to find. On Sundays, the street gets quite busy with people going to the church, but the rest of the week it is just the usual neighborhood traffic. We spend our days making signs and working with different materials. The shop is a bit small, so we have to stay organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. There are usually offcuts of vinyl and metal lying around the floor. We don't have an air conditioner, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. It gets a bit warm in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We usually keep the front door open to let in a breeze and to see what is happening on the street. Sometimes we chat with the neighbors who are passing by. It is a friendly area. We are not some big corporate firm. It is just a few of us here doing the work. We try to get everything done by the time the sun goes down. We have been in this spot for a long time and we like being part of the community here. The church bells ring at certain times and it's a nice sound to work to. It is a very grounded place.
