Sri Murugan Institution

Sri Murugan Institution is tucked away in the Swapnalok Apartments on Evk Sampath Road. We are at number 60, right next to the Sambavanath Jain Temple here in Vepery. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are familiar with this part of Chennai 600007. The apartment building is shared with other offices and homes, so it feels very much like a community space. We aren't a massive school with a playground or anything. It's more of a dedicated area inside the building where we help students with their studies. The rooms are plain and we keep things straightforward. No one wears uniforms here, and we don't have a big reception desk. It’s just us and the students working through their syllabus. Being near the temple means it’s relatively quiet on our side of the street compared to the main roads. We like the location because it’s central. People often come in to ask about classes while they are out running errands. We don't do any big promotions. We just open our doors and help whoever needs it. It’s a very grounded way of doing things. The building has its own rhythm and we are just one part of it. We use regular notebooks and explain things until they make sense. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain English and local languages. It’s a comfortable place for kids who want to sit and learn.
