Sri Maruthi Driving School

Sri Maruthi Driving School has been around Poonamallee for some time now. We are located on the first floor of a building on Theradi Street, right across from the LIC office. If you know the area, you know it gets quite busy with people and buses moving through. We mostly spend our days sitting in the passenger seat with students who are trying to get the hang of the steering wheel and the clutch. It isn't fancy work, but people need to learn how to move through Chennai traffic without hitting anything. Our office is just a simple room where we do the paperwork and talk about the rules of the road. Most of the time, we are out on the streets. We see a lot of nervous people on their first day, and by the end, they are usually doing okay. We don't have a big staff or anything, just a few of us who know the roads well. Being near the bus stand helps people find us easily. We try to keep things straightforward and don't use a lot of big words. It's just about getting behind the wheel and practicing until you feel comfortable. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the LIC building and look for the sign on the first floor. It is a noisy street, but it’s a good place to start learning. We take the cars out every morning and stay busy until the sun goes down.
