Sri Krishna Institute

We are Sri Krishna Institute, located at A-7 Geethalaya Apartment on 3rd Seaward Road. This is over in Thiruvanmiyur, near Valmiki Nagar. If you find the Singapore Shopping Complex, we are right around there. Being near the sea, we sometimes get a bit of a breeze, but it’s still Chennai, so the humidity is always around. Our office is inside the apartment complex. It makes for a bit of a quieter atmosphere compared to being right on a main junction. We have been based here for quite a while. The rooms are set up for teaching and meetings. We have the usual stuff like chairs, tables, and a few cupboards for files. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls. It’s a lived-in space that feels more like a home turned into a workplace. We see people coming in for their scheduled times throughout the day. The Singapore Shopping Complex is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We spend our hours going over the curriculum and helping out with various subjects. It is a steady pace of work. Sometimes the neighbors from the other apartments say hello in the hallway. It’s a very friendly and local way to run things. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people hear about us from someone else in Thiruvanmiyur. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily lessons.
