Sri Karpaga Vinayaka Engineering Work

We are located at 67, Koshipakkam in the Ambattur area. Sri Karpaga Vinayaka Engineering Work has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a bit tucked away compared to some of the bigger factories, but we like the quiet of this specific corner. The workshop itself is pretty old, with walls that have seen many coats of paint over the decades. We have our lathes and drilling machines set up in a row, and there is always a puddle of something near the back door when it rains. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We spend most of our time dealing with mechanical parts and repairs. Sometimes the heat in Ambattur gets to be too much, so we take a lot of water breaks and talk about the local cricket scores or whatever else is happening in the news. There’s no corporate hierarchy here. If something needs to be cleaned, whoever is closest to the broom does it. We don't have a receptionist to greet you; you just walk in and look for someone who isn't busy at a machine. It’s the kind of place where you can see the history of the work in the scratches on the workbenches and the oil stains on the floor. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just an engineering shop in Koshipakkam, doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, without much fuss.
