Sri Gomathi Sankar Catering Service

Our business, Sri Gomathi Sankar Catering Service, is located at No 15/6 on Nayakkamar Street. We are quite close to the Postal Colony here in West Mambalam. It’s a busy residential area and we have been part of this neighborhood for some time now. We mostly handle food for various functions like small weddings, housewarmings, or even just family gatherings where someone doesn't want to cook. The kitchen is always busy with something or other. We don't have a big office or a reception area. It’s just a place where the cooking happens. My family and a few helpers are usually around, chopping vegetables or packing up containers. The street can be narrow, so when the delivery vans come, it gets a bit tight. We try not to bother the neighbors too much. People around West Mambalam just know us by word of mouth. We don't really do much advertising because we're usually busy enough with the regulars. The food we make is what we’ve been cooking for years. It's traditional and straightforward. We don't try to be something we're not. Sometimes things get a little chaotic when we have three orders on the same day, but we always find a way to get it done. It's just honest work for us. If you're walking near the Postal Colony, you'll probably smell what we're cooking. We just keep doing what we know best and hope the customers are satisfied.
