Sri Durgai Engineering Works

Sri Durgai Engineering Works is tucked away at No. 3 on Kamakshi Amman Street. We are right in Sathyamoorthy Nagar, Ekkattuthangal. This area has a lot of small shops like ours, so we fit right in with the local scene. Engineering is what we know, and we’ve been doing it from this same spot for quite a while now. The shop isn't massive, but we’ve managed to fit all the tools and machinery we need into the space. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially with the machines running, but that’s part of the job. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor, making sure parts are right and things are moving along. People around here know us by name, which is nice. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Chennai; we just want to do the work that’s in front of us. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job, and other times it’s a bit slower. That’s just how the engineering business works. Kamakshi Amman Street is a good place for a shop like ours. It’s accessible, and we know all the other shop owners nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a simple life, really. We don't need much more than a good set of tools and a steady flow of work to keep us going.
