Sri Devi Engineers

Sri Devi Engineers is a small workshop located at 58/2 in Kaladipet. We’re over in the Tiruvottiyur area, which is quite an industrial part of the city. We mostly deal with small engineering jobs and mechanical repairs. It’s the kind of place where there is always the sound of machines running or someone welding something in the back. We don't have a big corporate office or a floor full of managers. It’s just a few of us who know how to work with metal and machines. People bring us parts that need fixing or they ask us to make something specific for their own projects. The shop has been in Kaladipet for a good bit of time. It’s not a very pretty place, just a practical work site with tools and materials everywhere. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the final product works like it’s supposed to. We don't do any fancy marketing. Most of our work comes from other businesses nearby in Tiruvottiyur who know what we do. It’s a steady life and we prefer it that way. Every day is a bit different depending on what kind of job comes through the door. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. It’s simple, honest engineering work. That’s really all there is to it at our place. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
