Sri Annapoorani Catering Services

Our catering service, Sri Annapoorani, is based in Mylapore, Chennai. We are located at New No 64 Old No 30/1 on Mandaveli Lane, which is right across from the Shree Subham Kalyana Mandapam. This part of Chennai is very traditional and we have been here for a long time. Our business started in our own home kitchen many years ago. Now we have a dedicated space for cooking, but it still feels very much like a family affair. We specialize in providing food for weddings, upanayanam, and other family functions. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment. Instead, we rely on the skill of our cooks who have been with us for years. We source our vegetables from the local market every morning to ensure they are fresh. My family is involved in every part of the process, from picking the menu to supervising the service at the venue. We don't have a big office or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from people who have tasted our food at a function and asked for our number. We don't make big promises or have glossy brochures. We just talk to our customers and try to understand what they need for their specific event. It’s a busy life, especially during the wedding season when we are working late into the night. We just enjoy the process of making food for people’s special days in this neighborhood.
