Our shop is at 617, Park Town, right by Kannapper Thidal. It’s a well-known area, especially when there are events or games happening nearby at the ground. We get a lot of foot traffic then, though most people are just passing through to find the entrance. We focus on bearings for all kinds of uses, from small ones to the big heavy ones. The shop is small and can get pretty dusty with all the traffic and wind outside. We don’t spend much time cleaning the windows because they just get dirty again five minutes later. We prefer to spend our time helping the people who actually come inside. We have a lot of different sizes and types of bearings crammed into this space on old wooden shelves. It takes a bit of experience to know exactly where everything is kept. We’ve been here long enough that we can usually find things pretty fast. The atmosphere is casual. We wear our regular clothes and don’t worry about looking like a fancy corporate office. It’s a practical place for practical people. Most of our customers are local mechanics who are trying to fix something in a hurry. We listen to their problems and see if we have the part that fits. It’s not a complicated life. We close up when the sun goes down and head home to our families. We like the rhythm of the day here in Park Town. It’s a good place to be if you like staying busy and talking to folks.
