Lingam Hydraulics is located at No.50 on GST Road in Uarapakkam. Being on a main road like GST means there is always traffic and a lot of dust flying around. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly filled with hoses, valves, and heavy hydraulic components. There is usually a bit of oil on the floor, no matter how much we try to clean it up. That’s just part of working with hydraulics, I suppose. We spend most of our time repairing old cylinders or putting together new hose assemblies for customers who stop by. It’s a lot of hands-on work, and we usually have grease under our fingernails. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. Most people find us because they saw our sign while driving by or someone told them we could fix their leak. We have a few workbenches where we pull things apart to see what’s wrong. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, and other times we have to wait for a part to arrive. We just take it day by day. The heat in Uarapakkam can be pretty intense in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans running full blast while we work. It’s a simple operation, run by people who know their way around a wrench. We’ve been at this for a while and don't plan on changing much about how we run things.
