Our place is in Mogappair West, specifically at Door No 9 on Vallalar Salai. We are near Padi, so we cover a lot of areas around here. We have been doing marriage catering for a long time. It started out as a small thing and slowly we started getting more orders. We are not a big company with hundreds of employees. It is a small team of cooks and helpers who know how to work together. We spend most of our time in the kitchen preparing for the next big function. When there is a wedding, we are up very early to get everything ready. We don't have a big fancy office. If you want to talk to us about a menu, you usually just come to the house or we meet at the venue. We use traditional recipes that have been in the family. We don't try to make things look like they belong in a magazine. We just want the food to taste like home cooking. Sometimes we get very busy during the wedding season and it is hard to keep up with the phone calls. But we try to get back to everyone eventually. We source our spices and rice from people we have known for years. People in Mogappair know us through their friends and relatives. We don't really do any advertisements or have a social media page. We just let the food speak for itself at the functions.
