Sree Maheswari Lunch Home

Sree Maheswari Lunch Home is situated near the bus stand in Mahakavi Bharathi Nagar, or Mkb Nagar as everyone calls it. We’ve been here for a good bit of time. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of commuters and people just passing through. It’s a small place, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We mostly do lunch for the local crowd. The 600039 area is quite residential, so we have a lot of regulars who live nearby and don't feel like cooking at home some days. We don't have a huge menu. We just make what we can manage each day. The kitchen is basic, and we do things the old-fashioned way. No fancy machines, just a couple of stoves and some big pots. Sometimes the place gets a bit cramped when the buses arrive, but people don't seem to mind. They just want a plate of food. We don't have a website or do any big advertising. People just find us because we're right there near the bus stop. The tables are simple and we keep things clean enough. We're not trying to be a fancy restaurant. It's just a lunch home where you can get a meal without spending too much. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we’ve got a routine down now. We just try to serve people who are in a hurry or just hungry for a home-style meal. It keeps us busy most days.
